After a warm night, we slept in a bit before going for breakfast. Before we reach the breakfast place, we hear a lot of noise coming from the main square. A lot of people are on their way there, so we have a look too.
There is a rally with sports cars, and they are parked here now. Mark has a big smile on his face while watching the cars, while just look forward to having breakfast…😁
We enjoy our breakfast at Fristik before we go for our massage. With the sound of piano music, birdsong and flowing water in the background, the masseuses find the painful muscles and stretch us in ways we didn’t know our body can fold… It’s a good and thorough mn massage!
After the massage, I finish our plan for the next stretch to Baia Mare, 12 days through 3 countries, with a spa town break halfway 😁.
After our resupply and laundry, we go for dinner with Marcin and we visit the Cathedral. Inside we see the mix between a Catholic church that we know, and the orthodox style of the Russian churches. Marcin tells us that there is such a thing as catholic orthodox, and I had never heard of ut, but by the looks of this cathedral, that would be the best explanation.
We say goodbye to Marcin at the marker of the Jacobs weg, wishing him a happy trail. He will continue his SNP trail, while we go south to pick up E3 tomorrow.
Back at our appartment, we repack our gear explosion and try to organize some hotels/campsites in 3 different languages 😅. We are in for a diverse 2 weeks!
