We start our day with a very good breakfast, before we say goodbye to our hosts. We had a great stay here!
From Saschiz, the trail goes up towards the citadel, before it continues through the forest.
Most of the day we hike in the forest or through a few open fields, sometimes with good views over the Bucegi mountains. We go through the village of Daia, where we get a drink and continue I. the forest until we get to Sighisoara, our destination. The forest trail is really nice walking. When we exit the forest, we go up the hill and have a great view over the citadel of Sighisoara. Here, we meet a group of children with their teachers, on a picnic! We have a chat with them, before we descent I to the city to find our apartment. It’s a nice little place with a good shower, right in the centre of the town. After a shower, we go to a restaurant and have a good plate of food whilst replanning the coming week. We are going to be camping some more again and we planned until now to get more familiar with the trail and the area were walking.
After dinner we get a resupply and make sure we can navigate on the watch.
A busy yet effective evening after a good day on trail.
