We wake up after a really good night of sleep. Great soft beds, and so level!
Breakfast is served by a few very lovely ladies who take pride in not letting us leave the table hungry 😅. We use the morning to do some blogging, trying to repair the camera and washing. There is a laundry service nextdoor, so that is really easy today!
After the chores (no luck with the camera though), we go into town to celebrate st Patrick’s day. We watch the parade, which is really nice because every organisation/club in town seems to participate. Danceclubs, sportscubs, scouts, and different nationalities represented in Cork, that have their own club.
Its great fun to watch, but also really good to see how proud people are of their club and of their country, yet also celebrating their Irishness. Great examples were an Ethiopian man in national clothes with a green hat and orange beard, and Mexican cowboys waving an Irish flag.
After the parade we end up in the Poor Relation grocery pub and enjoy the live music there. We add a few songs to our trail playlist too! Thank you Cork and st Patrick for the great day!
