We sleep in today and have a lazy start. We walk into the village and do a little resupply before we go to the Hungarospa.
At the entrance, we need to make a choice between all the different parts of the spa. Inside, we find out that the terrain is way larger than we expected! There is a beach area with different pools, stretchers in the grass and a gazillion food and drink options. There is also an area with waterslides and an indoor wellness area. The latter is for tomorrow.
We enjoy the swimmingpool, the thermal pool and the waterslides. And the wave bath, where a giant mechanical arm makes artificial waves in the pool, much to the excitement of the people in the pool. People even come and watch it!
For us, part of the entertainment is also in watching the other people, soaking the atmosphere and figuring out how the system here works.
After our spa visit (that was more a pool visit), we get our groceries for dinner and a coffee at a cafe. After that we go to our appartment and make a pasta meal.
As a dessert we have a good glass of Hungarian wine. Before we can enjoy it, mark needs to go down to a café, because our appartment lacks a corkscrew 😅
Not the spa day that we expected, but a great off-trail holiday!
